Trace Powder

This alchemical substance has a quasi-magical nature that allows it to be picked up by sensory magic (detect magic, scrying, etc.). It is used as a means of tracking someone or something that the one tracking it can lock in on, even without intimate knowledge that accurate scrying requires. The target is treated as one category more familiar to the tracker.

Price: 150 gp. Create: Craft (Alchemy) 25. Enhance: Craft (Alchemy) 50 (target is two categories more familiar; price 1500 gp).

Elvensteel

Elvensteel is a special material that is created by secret magical means by certain elven metalsmiths. Knowledge is mostly handed down through families, though a rare few others are trained to craft it by the families that do know. Non-elves are NEVER trained in its creation. This quasi-magical material is much more responsive to magic and any items made with it have their base cost to create reduced by 25% (after the cost of the Elvensteel is figured in).

Elvensteel items, usually weapons, armor and jewelry, are usually never granted to non-elves, though rare cases have occurred. Usually, in order for non-elves to acquire such gear, it hass to be looted from elven tombs or corpses.

Elvensteel items are automatically masterwork items (same as mithral, cold iron, adamantine, etc.). The cost for such an item is the same as a masterwork version, plus 1000gp.

Widow requested I design the following items.


Ring of Donning
While wearing this ring the wearer may use a standard action to mentally will a worn suit of armor to slither along their body and be stored inside the ring. As a standard action the wearer can also will a suit already stored in the ring to slither out of the ring and be donned. The ring can only store one suit of armor at a time and can not store shields. If the wearer is currently wearing a suit of armor when they try to unstore a suit then the stored suit slithers out and forms on the ground beside them. Only armor of masterwork or higher quality can be stored in the ring. If the ring is placed inside a bag of holding, portable hole, or similar device it destroys both items, tearing open a portal to the astral plane and sucking everything within 10' inside.

Caster level 13th
Market Price: 3500 GP
Cost to create: 2000 GP +175 XP


Sheathe of Storing
These Magical sheathes can store bladed weapons within them. By sheathing a blade in these sheathes the weapon vanishes. As a free action one may place their hand upon the sheathe and cause one of the weapons stored within's handle to appear so they may draw the blade. Only weapons of masterwork quality or higher may be stored within these sheathes. There are 4 types of Sheathes of storing. Type 1 stores up to 2 weapons. Type 2 can store up to 3 weapons. Type 3 can store up to 4 weapons. Type 4 can store up to 5 weapons. If the Sheathe is placed inside a bag of holding, portable hole, or similar device it destroys both items, tearing open a portal to the astral plane and sucking everything within 10' inside.

Cost to create: 650 GP + 100 XP

Type 2 Caster level 9th
Market Price: 1500 GP
Cost to create: 950 GP + 200 XP

Type 3 Caster level 11th
Market Price: 2000 GP
Cost to create: 1250 GP + 300 XP

Type 4 Caster level 13th
Market Price: 2500 GP
Cost to create: 1500 GP + 400 XP

Armor of the Arachnids: This armor is crafted from the silk of huge spiders found in the underrealm. The bodysuit becomes a second skin and grants the wearer a +4 AC(like mage armor) and immunity to all forms of poison from aracnids, if bitten. In addition, a spellcaster can cast somatic spells with no penalties. CL 10. Underrealm purchase cost: 3,500 GP.  Black market cost: 9,750 GP

Gloves of the Arachnids: These gloves become a second skin and grant the wearer spider climb and web 3/day, CL 8. Underrealm purchase cost: 900 GP
